Health Canada now requires all cosmetic companies to advise their customers of potential fragrance related allergens that are contained in their products at certain concentrations. This allows consumers to identify ingredients to which they may be allergic or sensitive, or wish to avoid, helping them make more informed health decisions regarding product purchase and use.

We do not use fragrance oils in any of our products, therefore you will never see the term "fragrance" or "parfum" in our ingredient lists. This does make our job easier than other makers who use fragrance oils as these tend to contain more of these potential allergens than essential oils.

Regular application helps lock in moisture to prevent peeling, splitting, and dryness while reducing hangnails.

Typically once daily but you can certainly apply it as often as you think you need it. I like to apply it at night right before bed.

If you have really dry skin or wash your hands a lot it may benefit you to apply it more often.

If you have recently gotten a manicure it is always nice to be really diligent with application so that your manicure lasts a long time.

Many customers like to leave the bottle on their bathroom counter so it is in view to remind you to apply it.

A little goes a long way

I usually place a small drop on every other nail bed and then work the product into the cuticles with my fingers. I usually follow up with our Body Lotion on my hands which helps take some of the greasiness away from the product. A little goes a long way.

The cuticle oil is definitely oily and greasy. We have chosen a combination of oils that do soak in quickly but there is still going to be greasiness especially since the application point is on your hands. We like to follow up with our Body Lotion to work into hands after application of the Cuticle Oil to help tame the greasiness of the product. Give it a couple of minutes before handling objects and you should be good to go.
