Health Canada now requires all cosmetic companies to advise their customers of potential fragrance related allergens that are contained in their products at certain concentrations. This allows consumers to identify ingredients to which they may be allergic or sensitive, or wish to avoid, helping them make more informed health decisions regarding product purchase and use.

We do not use fragrance oils in any of our products, therefore you will never see the term "fragrance" or "parfum" in our ingredient lists. This does make our job easier than other makers who use fragrance oils as these tend to contain more of these potential allergens than essential oils.

With the Cuticle Oil Pen applicator, you can apply this as many times as you want to when you feel your hands are dry.

If you have really dry skin or wash your hands a lot it may benefit you to apply it more often. Our pen applicator gives you the freedom to apply cuticle oil after washing your hands at work - we recommend following up with our Body Lotion as well to keep your hands feeling soft and silky.

If you have recently gotten a manicure it is always nice to be really diligent with application so that your manicure lasts a long time.

A little goes a long way

With the pen option - it is good to dispense enough oil to wet the brush and then brush that oil onto your cuticles and assess. You may need more but keeping in mind you are likely out and about so you won't necessarily apply as much with the pen as you would with the dropper.

The cuticle oil is definitely oily and greasy. We have chosen a combination of oils that do soak in quickly but there is still going to be greasiness especially since the application point is on your hands. We like to follow up with our Body Lotion to work into hands after application of the Cuticle Oil to help tame the greasiness of the product. Give it a couple of minutes before handling objects and you should be good to go.
