We recommend two different application methods:

Shampoo Pre-Treatment

• This is the most common method of application
• Apply right before washing hair or let it sit as long as possible if you are staying home.
• Section off dry hair and apply a small amount of product using the dropper bottle to scalp
• Move section by section applying a small amount of scalp oil to the scalp and root area of the hair
• Massage into the root and scalp with fingertips for 2-3 minutes. You can also work the oil into the hair lengths as desired
• If you plan to leave it in, the oil will be greasy when it is in your hair working its magic, tie it back in a scrunchie and go about your day. When you are ready to wash your hair minutes then shampoo and condition as normal. We like to wash twice as per our Wash Rinse Repeat method to make sure all of the oil is fully remove from your hair. We recommend using our Shampoo Bar for Build Up for best results in removing all oils.
• If your hair is on the dryer side, and you don't wash your hair every day, you can use this each time you wash your hair. If your hair is on the oilier side and you do wash more often, use the Scalp Oil once per week for best results.

Overnight Treatment

• Apply the same way as above but use smaller amounts to avoid over saturation
• Wrap your hair in a silk scarf to protect bedding
• Leave on overnight and shampoo in the morning as per above instructions
