Our Hello Fall Hand Lotion contains minimal and mindful ingredients - fragranced with essentials oils - never containing synthetic fragrance oils or dyes.

  • Some essential oils are photosensitive which means using them before sun exposure can cause a reaction. Please be aware of this when using any of our products infused with essential oils

  • Please note that we strive to ensure our scents are consistent across batches - we use the same percentage of essential oil in each batch, however we cannot control the strength of the essential oil itself as it is provided to us from our suppliers. This may result in a slightly different strength of scent from one batch to another. Please understand this is the nature of using essential oils rather than synthetic fragrances in our products. 

Health Canada now requires all cosmetic companies to advise their customers of potential fragrance related allergens that are contained in their products at certain concentrations. This allows consumers to identify ingredients to which they may be allergic or sensitive, or wish to avoid, helping them make more informed health decisions regarding product purchase and use.

We do not use fragrance oils in any of our products, therefore you will never see the term "fragrance" or "parfum" in our ingredient lists. This does make our job easier than other makers who use fragrance oils as these tend to contain more of these potential allergens than essential oils. 

Some essential oils do still contain potential allergens that are contained within Health Canada's list of fragrance allergens - so any of the allergens listed below are contained within the essential oils that are used to scent our products.

Why We Use It

Plant based Emulsifying Wax is included in this formula to provide a stable emlusion - blending the water and oil components together. Without this ingredient, the formula would separate. Natural Emollient, Helps Product Soak in Quickly

Why We Use It

Coco Caprylate is an ECOCERT approved smooth spreading plant based emollient derived from coconuts that we add to products to improve how quickly and easily the product is absorbed to the skin. Without this ingredient in some of our formulas, carrier oils alone can sit on top of the skin and leave a greasy skin feel. It also helps products spread nicely across the skin without drag. This is a high quality and very expensive ingredient but one that is well worth adding as an alternative to synthetic silicones.

Why We Use It

Cetyl Alcohol acts as a premium, non-drying thickener and emollient in our Body Lotion, creating a luxurious, silky-smooth texture without tackiness. It acts as an occlusive agent to lock in moisture, stabilizes the formula to prevent separation, and increases the melting point to prevent melting in warm temperatures. Cetyl Alcohol actually does not contain alcohol despite its name, instead it is a plant based natural ingredient derived from coconuts.

Yes this is the one!

We like to hand out samples to our customers to give you a chance to try our products. Our Body Lotion works well at the front counter and gives us a chance to explain a little bit about our brand.

If you tried it at our booth and are looking to purchase it now, this is the one you are looking for!

Absolutely not.

We have formulated our Body Lotion to be lightweight yet hydrating. It is a water based product and the addition of the two humectants allows moisture to be drawn into the skin.

When customers try this lotion at our booth, we get a lot of positive feedback about how quickly the lotion soaks in, but it leaves your hands feeling soft and silky but never greasy.

Our Body Butter is a thicker more luscious cream than our Body Lotion. If you have very dry skin we would recommend the Body Butter - our Body Lotion is lightweight and a lovely product as well, but it is thinner and not as rich as the Body Butter. Many customers like to use the Body Lotion in the summer months and switch to Body Butter in the dry winter climate.

Thanks for noticing! Our Body Lotion comes in its natural color - and that is by design We ensure our products are made with minimal + mindful ingredients - so when we formulate we assess each ingredient for its purpose - if it doesn't serve a purpose other than looking pretty, we leave it out. Our products do not contain any dyes or micas as these ingredients serve no purpose other than being a colorant. Which simply is not necessary. We like to let our formulas shine in their natural color and instead we make our packing colorful!.

Recently brought in we now have our Travel Size Body Lotion available - in limited quantities for now but we do plan on bringing full inventory in for the fall.

These are adorable mini versions of our full size bottle but with a disc cap instead of a pump. This will make it way easier to throw into your purse, gym bag or carry on.

You can refill your travel size bottle with our full size bottle as well. Just remove the disc cap and pump lotion into the bottle.
