  • Some essential oils are photosensitive which means using them before sun exposure can cause a reaction. Please be aware of this when using any of our products infused with essential oils
  • Do not use this product as a tanning oil
  • For external use only. If irritation occurs discontinue use. 
  • Keep out of reach of children + pets. In case of accidental ingestion contact a Poison Control Center and advise this product container eucalyptus oil (for mint + eucalyptus option only) 

Health Canada now requires all cosmetic companies to advise their customers of potential fragrance related allergens that are contained in their products at certain concentrations. This allows consumers to identify ingredients to which they may be allergic or sensitive, or wish to avoid, helping them make more informed health decisions regarding product purchase and use.

We do not use fragrance oils in any of our products, therefore you will never see the term "fragrance" or "parfum" in our ingredient lists. This does make our job easier than other makers who use fragrance oils as these tend to contain more of these potential allergens than essential oils. 

Some essential oils do still contain potential allergens that are contained within Health Canada's list of fragrance allergens - so any of the allergens listed below are contained within the essential oils that are used to scent our products.

It absorbs quickly and assists in keeping hhe other ingredients in this formula fresh.

Why We Use It

Coco Caprylate is an ECOCERT approved smooth spreading plant based emollient derived from coconuts that we add to products to improve how quickly and easily the product is absorbed to the skin. Without this ingredient in some of our formulas, carrier oils alone can sit on top of the skin and leave a greasy skin feel. It also helps products spread nicely across the skin without drag. This is a high quality and very expensive ingredient but one that is well worth adding as an alternative to synthetic silicones.

This new and improved formula truly soaks in - it is formulated with several lightweight oils that blend perfectly together to soak in quickly while still deeply hydrating the skin. Our formula also contains Coco Caprylate Caprate which is a smooth spreading emollient which helps it spread onto the skin easily and soaks in quickly.

No body oil will ever soak in as quickly as a lotion but we are confident in how our new body oil formula will soak into your skin. You can use this as a finishing oil as well when wearing a sleeveless top, shorts, skirt etc.

We like to apply this after lotion - I usually pump a couple of pumps into my hands, rub them together and apply to one leg until it spreads out nicely and starts to soak in. I repeat this process for the remainder of my body. You will play around with it to find the right amount for you. Give it a few minutes to fully soak into your skin before dressing.

Yes we currently have our Body Oil in our Spa Gift Set where it is paired with our Body Lotion and Sugar Scrub at a discounted price. The Spa Gift Set is one of our best selling gift sets.

We like to use both. I like to apply the lotion or body butter to my skin and then use the Body Oil as a finishing OIl. Depending on your skin type you may be able to use the Body Oil on its own.

We believe our Body Oil is next level in the ingredient department - we would challenge you to compare ingredient lists of other body oils on the market - we use Cacay Oil, Meadowseed Foam Oil + Argan Oil to name a few of the high quality and expensive ingredients in this formula.
