  • Net Weight 120 g | 4 ounces
  • Use about a quarter size amount of cream and rub it onto your child's feet or legs about 15 minutes before bedtime after bath
  • This is not meant to be an all over body moisturizer but instead for spot treatment just enough to get the cream onto the skin so the magnesium can absorb into the body.
  • Avoid rubbing on open sores or cuts as the magnesium chloride can sting. 
  • Continued use in one spot can cause dryness of the skin - this is due to the saltiness of the magnesium chloride and is unavoidable despite the other ingredients in the formula. We recommend changing the location from time to time to avoid this dryness.
  • We have specially formulated this cream with a lower dosage of magnesium. This should help reduce potential stinging for the little ones that can be caused by the saltiness of the magnesium chloride

  • Avoid using on open sores or cuts
  • Some essential oils are photosensitive which means using them before sun exposure can cause a reaction. Please be aware of this when using any of our products infused with essential oils. This product is recommended for use at night.

Why We Use It

We first make Magnesium Oil using distilled water and Magnesium Chloride together. This combination forms the base of our Magnesium Dream Cream. It is then combined with two humectants (glycerin and propanediol) that help to draw the moisture from the distilled water into the skin.

Why We Use It

Plant based Emulsifying Wax is included in this formula to provide a stable emlusion - blending the water and oil components together. Without this ingredient, the formula would separate. Emulsifying Wax is a synthetic ingredient but is plant based, derived from coconuts that is free from parabens, phthalates and petroleum. It also tolerates the high electrolyte content from the magnesium in this formula.

Mango Butter gives this formula a beautiful thick texturet.

Why We Use It

Stearic Acid is crucial thickener, emulsifier, and emollient in this product. Because we combine water-based ingredients with oils, stearic acid acts as a binding agent that stops them from separating. It also gives the cream a rich, velvety texture and helps lock moisture into the skin. Stearic Acid is a natural, saturated fatty acid found abundantly in both animal fats and plant oils.

Why We Use It

Coco Caprylate is an ECOCERT approved smooth spreading plant based emollient derived from coconuts that we add to products to improve how quickly and easily the product is absorbed to the skin. Without this ingredient in some of our formulas, carrier oils alone can sit on top of the skin and leave a greasy skin feel. It also helps products spread nicely across the skin without drag. This is a high quality and very expensive ingredient but one that is well worth adding as an alternative to synthetic silicones.

Cetyl Alcohol acts as a premium, non-drying thickener and emollient in our Magnesium Dream Cream, creating a luxurious, silky-smooth texture without tackiness. It acts as an occlusive agent to lock in moisture, stabilizes the formula to prevent separation, and increases the melting point to prevent melting in warm temperatures. Cetyl Alcohol actually does not contain alcohol despite its name, instead it is a plant based natural ingredient derived from coconuts.
